Rally for Green Manufacturing Jobs!

An estimated 300 people came down to the wind turbine at Great Lakes Science Center to rally for green manufacturing jobs and sign our petition. Thank you to all who attended.

Strategic Planning Event Held Downtown at Crop Bistro and Bar on W. 6th.

Over 100 attendees met to discuss where they wanted 10,000 to be in year. A copy of our 2008 strategic playbook was distributed to attendees.

10,000 kicks off its 10,000 Friends Membership Initiative

Northeast Ohio citizens who want to connect and support the operations of the 10,000 Little (micro) Ideas organization can now sign-up online for 10,000 Friends membership. The goal of 10,000 Friends is to involve at least 10,000 Northeast Ohio citizens in carrying out the mission of the 10,000 organization.

10,000 kicks off its "Say YES! To green manufacturing Jobs in Northeast Ohio" online petition.

10,000 is collecting signatures via www.10000LittleIdeas.com and at a 4/22/08 (Earth Day) Rally for green jobs to be held at the wind turbine located between the Great Lakes Science Center and Cleveland Browns Stadium from 4 to 7 p.m. Petition signatures will be collected and sent to Columbus to push renewal energy legislation in Ohio.

10,000 kicks off the Cleveland Apprentice Program

This year, 10,000 has created a challenge for ten students from Solon and Beachwood High Schools. The Cleveland Apprentice Program is designed to develop leadership skills in young emerging leaders while inspiring them and the student bodies at their respective schools to become involved citizens in the Northeast Ohio Community. Winners of the program will receive one of several college scholarships.
